At a time when the pressure on George Bush, the US president, shows no sign of slowing down either at home or abroad, Madeleine Albright, the former US secretary of state, joins Sir David Frost to discuss American policy in the Middle East, the pressure on Bush and the US presidential contenders.

The interview begins with the UK-Iranian sailor crisis and Albright discusses the British governments' handling of the issue as well as reflecting upon her memories of the 1979 US-Iran hostage crisis.
