It makes me sick when I see what these demons have done to Somalia, when I see a van loaded with bodies, thousands of civilians being killed by occupation that wasn't needed in the first place. I still reflect on how peaceful Somalia was in 2006, people shopping in Mogadishu and being interviewed by al jazeera and telling the press how peaceful it was, no fighting. The US was in no position militarily to invade so they like their ancestors were able to find a willing gangster to sell his black brother into slavery. It is this type of activity that keeps Africa in the dog house. When Ethiopians, Ugandans, Nigerians, Congolese, and Somalis start to open their eyes and say to Europe, 'when you get your own Black populations out of the dog house you can help me, otherwise foreign interests in Africa are purely designed to keep Africans down.

Tallahasse, USA: There are significantly more black women than black men in professional schools and colleges, but their overall numbers are the same. Why is this, we can debate another time. Polygamy is unnecessary in all societies and a practice that is morally reprehensible. Polygamy, stonings, beheadings....these are all practices that primitive cultures engage in....like those of 2000 years ago. And as I said, look at the technological, economic, and intellectual development of those countries that still practice these behaviors. A country that stones adulterers will never send a man to the moon or cure cancer. In fact, these countries will also find themselves militarily inferior and easy pickings for more powerful forces who want their resources. Sound familiar? A country can live in the stone age, but it would be setting itself up for domination by more modern adversaries.

So what is to be said of David who is said to have had 13 wives by some accounts, and Solomon who is said to have had hundreds of wives, most of the biblical prophets either practiced polygamy or permitted it, so the question is why would they permit it except that God permitted it, and if men and women are equal in number why make it permissable?
I can say I don't see this 1 for 1 between male and female in America especially amongst African Americans, in the schools most students are girls, in churches it's mainly girls. Polygamy is not an obligation in Islam but a freedom that guarantees marriage of all women if all men marry, and broken families are a root of social instability which affects economics etc, or as Al Gore said 'absent fathers are the root of all social woes.'

I , too, tend to choose friends whom i trust i don`t however have the arrogance to assume that their anecdotal evidence is superior to the entire body of evidence available from government statistics, journalism, social science etc. etc.
As for your curious potted history of the benign spread of Islam.....come off it! The last thousand years of conflict between Islam and Christendom has been a continuous process of conquest and reconquest with appalling savagery on both sides....supreme arrogance for either side to claim the moral high ground i`d say...

Islam we believe is perfect but men are not, the closest one can come to justice is administrating based on what God has revealed.

Tallahassee, USA: I don't think my last post got through. I was trying to say that there are roughly equal numbers of males and females in the Muslim world. There are more older women than men because they live longer, so there are slightly more women than men in all societies. But this is unrelated to the Hamas leader that was killed who had four wives, as there are certainly not four times as many women in the Muslim world as men. Let's not defend polygamy with untruths. This is your religion. What's the deal with polygamy?

Arthurengland, most of us tend to see the West as U.K, U.S, France, etc. These western nations hide that there are other western nations like Jamaica, Haiti, Brazil, Mexico. What's thier excuse for mass poverty, and high crime? The point I have been trying to make previously is that when one compared the Muslim world to those western nations south of Mexico we see that Muslims and darker skinned people have similar economic conditions, and if those nations north of the border want to point to thier institutions for thier economic success, then why is it that we don't see the same economic progress in those nations south of the border? The answer is simple those nations south of the border and the Muslim world are the victims of colonialism perpetrated by Europeans. This is the only logical explanation. Put another way if mass transit slavery, and colonialism don't take place Europe would resenble those nations south of the rio grande, because they lack the Islam to reduce crime.
