Sherpa: I can't get most of what I write through on this thread, while others can post several things in one day. I read the Cook report. Zionists controlling everything again. Lot's of innacuracies. Time will tell.

Rezasantorini: Yes, I know every law abiding US citizen has only one vote, but if anybody messes with AIPAC then they are in deep trouble. They make the mafia look like petty thieves. You said Obama altered his statement about Jerusalem. What do you mean? There is no way he can worm out of that one. It was me who said Arabs were living in Jerusalem before the US and the illegal Israeli state were even created. Yes, you are right, Jews and Christian Arabs also lived there. They are all fine, the ones that are illegal are those Ashkenazi Jews from Eastern Europe. The founders of the illegitimate rogue Israeli state. They must pack their belongings and jog on.

dshell32, South Bend, United States: What’s happening homeboy. I must say I have enjoyed reading some of your posts on these forums. I admit a slight exaggeration when I said Obama doesn’t give two hoots about Israel. Everybody loves their bagels in the mornings. You say you were shocked by the Middle East’s reaction to his speech - imagine how they felt. They have been waiting for donkey’s years to get “change” in American foreign policy. With Obama, they had hoped he would provide this change. So when they see Obama come out with such drivel, it is a shock to say the least. If he sticks to that hard-line position, then American relations to the Muslim World might not ever recover. Unless a Muslim becomes US president. Even if one did I bet the Zionists will also have him/her on the lock down.

J, LA: Hold on there buddy. Don’t get ahead of yourself. I never said you were right. Never have, never will. But I did say who cares because unless either one of us speaks that language, I don’t think we can say for sure what he said. I have heard so many different translations, I can’t keep up. One even said that he wanted to wipe the planet Zion off the map. Where the heck is that? Have Jews immigrated to there as well. Goodness me! I blame the Israeli media for this of course. Yes, you are right (I don’t believe it) Iran playing with the photo is a sign of desperation. What do you expect when two rogue states like Israel and the US are threatening you? They have to show their teeth to let the bullies know they can’t mess with them. What do you mean Iran is on the brink of doing something stupid? That is pure scare mongering. I can bet you any money Israel or the US would be the first to pull any trigger. It's very disappointing to hear you are not a b-ball fan J. You Hockey fan? Boo!

Lazarus1956, Des Moines, United States: Who are ya! Who are ya! Are you rezasantorini in disguise? What do you mean you want dates, places and names of my sources? That is a bit heavy isn’t it. What are you, an informant or something? If that is the case, then I aint telling you jack. Ok, I would tell you a little something, I said Israel had used those weapons against Arabs and not specifically Palestinians. I watched a documentary about the first Lebanon war where the doctors said that some injuries obtained by the Lebanese were inflicted by chemical or biological weapons. They also said that the Israelis would not tell them exactly what type it was so they did not know what to treat it with. That is all you are getting, for now snitch.

Carlito: You say Obama doesn't give two hoots about Israel. I wouldn't go that far, but it is sad that it is not obvious to many around the world that he just wants Jewish support so he can win the presidency. Anyone who would believe that Bushy would pust for an East Jerusalem capital but Obama wouldn't, I think is a little gullible. I was especially shocked to see that many in the Middle East didn't consider his remarks to be for the sole purpole of getting votes. Since when has any candidate that became president followed any major promises? Also of note: People are making a big deal about Bush changing his tactics with Iran by having attempted to talk directly with Iran. What a joke! Bush did that hoping nothing would come out of the talks so that they can now criticize Obama further by saying they proved trying to talk to Iran won't work. The stalemate with Iran has played into Republicans' favor.

Forgive my incorrect lettering, but when both Clinton and Obama appeared at AIPAC, why did Obama present his speech before Hillary when he had basically already locked up the nomination? Unless Clinton was late arriving, that is a poor and far from classy action for this Jewish organization to make.

Carlito Jazz, london, Carlito, regardless of what you think, a Jew has only one vote in America. Regardless of what you think, not all Americans are loving of Jews and Israel. No, I don't think Hilary's constituency will go to Obama. If I recall, Obama altered his statement regarding Jerusalem. And for whoever has said Arabs were in Jerusalem even before Israel existed, so were Jews and so was I, a Christian Arab. Don't I count?

As fine a man as McCain is, the USA surely needs a leader who is not a carry-over of the Bush administration. The USA has become morally, socially and financially bankrupt. In such a spectacular way that the world is suffering. As always, especially the poor. The Clintons are clever, and their supporters, we hope, will see the benefit of alliance, not a party switch. That would be taking the ball home and not playing any more. It is vital to stop this "most powerful man in the world" stuff. It is not true, and fosters delusions of grandeur with disastrous results. Sure, the veto and the gagging order of the 70 US current cases of corruption and theft of US$23bn from the Iraq/US war chest as exercised by Bush gives an impression of absolute power (abused). But the men and women in the street, "We The People", are the most powerful. Or there is no Democracy. So please, rally to Obama and pray he remains incorruptible.
