Malindi, a scenic town on the Kenyan coast, has a population of 70,757 and depends entirely on tourism.
Known as 'Little Italy' because of the large number of Italians there, Malindi's residents are feeling the pinch of the economic crisis.
Fewer tourists are visiting and with the beaches almost empty, many locals have lost their jobs.
