McCain and Obama clash in TV debate  
 

The US presidential hopefuls share their views on the financial crisis and foreign policy as the rivals answered questions from an 80-strong audience during a town hall-style debate in Nashville.

The debate provided the most intimate encounter the two candidates have shared in the course of the campaign.
