US 'without God' ad sparks debate

A recent survey in the US showed that more Americans say they do not affiliate themselves with any religion.

Christianity is still dominant in the US, and according to the American Religious Identification Survey, about three-quarters of Americans identify themselves as Christian.

But one-fifth of Americans say they either have no religion, or are atheist or agnostic, and a new advertising campaign across the country is trying to get more people to pay attention to humanism.

Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports from New York.
