Video: West backs 'Afghan CEO' plan



Western powers are pressing for the creation of a "chief executive" in the Afghan government who would oversee the day-to-day running of the country.

The diplomatic push, under way even as vote counting from Afghanistan's presidential election continues, is being presented as an anti-corruption measure.

Al Jazeera's Stefanie Dekker looks at the chief-executive proposal, a plan favoured by western governments and international donors.
