Dont the turks take a look at their history. Their only success in the past was Islam. look at the example of suleiman the magnificent. Now that very country denounces the islamic system. This is an act of kufr...Being ungrateful to ALLAH(SWT). From learned people to ignorance(Jaahilia). i see the downfall of turkey now. in a few years time there will be no more turkey left and no more islam in turkey if ALLAH wills...Foolish people It was Islam that made u successful.not secularism.its a shame. |

Turkey's seculars are those who gone astray...They are claiming that they are muslims yet they hate Islam so much. What kind of people are they. Are they not afraid of the Life after Death? May Allah destroy these seculars.. |

772-page judgment indicates reason has been ousted by its length. It is mere anti hejab sentiments put in language of judiciary. |

Missing the Point |

When Mustafa 'Ataturk' Kemal formed modern 'Turkey', he was trying to repair relations with the west. At the same time he was trying to keep things Turkish. Some settlements in Turkey date back 10,000 years, many religions have past through the area. You want to see Turkey just look at Aya Sophia, started as a Cathedral around the 5th century, converted to a mosque in the 15th century and then converted into a museum under Ataturk. Islam is not Turkey! Just one part of a great country. |

Turkey court finds AKP anti-secular |

If Turkey is so secular and free, people should be allowed to wear what they like to university, whether it is a headscarf or whatever. In the current drama, anyone would think that secularism is a religion in itself. |

What you’re incapable to understand is that America is immigrating forcefully into other countries and messing it up in the name of protecting American interest! We know what that means. The end result is that people who have lost peace and livelihood in their own country will seek better life in the west. There are horrible Arab regimes like Jordan, Egypt, Saudi, Yemen etc. but who keeps them in the power? Yep, you are right BUSH ADMINS. So, Scot try to be on the right side of the argument. |

It is un-democratic that the elected government cannot change the laws which give majority of people more freedom to practice their belief. If they wanted to change the law which would have gone against islam, no matter how un-democratic or un-secular that, it would not have any problem passing through.
Now I can see, why Taliban would kill anyone one who be friend to NATO in Afghanistan. This is because NATO would leave such a legacy among muslims that they can never pass an islamic law. |

Turkey needs to decide which side they are on. They can't be playing everyone like this. One day, they support the US against a fellow Islamic country, the next, they are on Russia's side and at the end they are trying to get into the EU.
This sort of puppetry will lead to their end.

It's amazing how ill informed people make assumptions that Turkey's secular system is undemocratic. Ataturk was the one who setup this system in the first place as he saw first hand what religion in government was doing to the countries around him.
Ataturk was the one who gave women the right to vote. It was him who protected all the churches and religious instutuions in Turkey. The secular system does not forbid religion, it just separates it. No sharia law in Turkey! |

May your Allah send you to hell for wishing evil on people who do not follow your idea of Islam. Islam does not wish bad upon anyone, no matter what race or religion. It's stupid people like you that give Muslims in this world a bad name. Islam and any religion for that matter is to help and unite people. Not destroy them. Get back into your hole and keep your mouth shut. |
