David Miliband, Britain's foreign minister, has said that the US must maintain the momentum in pushing for Middle East peace.

He made the comment in the course of an interview to Al Jazeera's Nisreen El-Shamayleh in Amman, Jordan.

The discussion covered subjects ranging from ongoing efforts to restart peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians, to recent developments in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran.
