This is another example of how the peace process, or at least the attempts at peace, will not go anywhere in Palestine unless there are enough people who are empathetic and motivated enough to speak out against the violence that is occurring. The violence and hatred has gone on long enough, it is time to set differences aside and try and repair the vast damage that has been done to the nation of Palestine/state of Israel. I don't think anyone wants to see a WW III erupting in the Middle East. |

Please know, not all Americans agree with what is happening in your home region. I am a 38 year old white american male and I hate how Israel is coddled and protected and all the while they are the biggest terror group in the region. Not until Israel is recognized as such will there be peace. Not until the U.S. pulls support of Israel will the world stop hating us. When will the people force the leaders in U.S. and Israel to change policy? |

Can you imagine the outcry from the western and pro- Israeli press if this woman was a Jewish woman ? The first thing they would've mentioned that terrorists had killed a poor old Jewish woman, and every newspaper would've published segments of praise and sorrow for her loss. AlJazeera is the 1st news service who reported the killing by Israelies of this lady in Jerusalem. May God rest her soul and the souls of all those who were killed by the Israelis. |

Yet another death of a woman and child because of Israeli forces and they cowardly deny pushing the poor woman. Everybody else is watching while the people of Palestine die. We have our neighboring Arab countries buying football clubs in England for God knows how much!
Where is the line that they have to cross that would wake everybody up!

Recently a Palestinian drove around in a black BMW and injured 15 Israeli's. Israel was very quick in calling that activity a terrorist attack. When a Palestinian dies when the Israeli military is involved they call it an accident.
Is this not terrorism also (terrorism defined as creating fear within the civilian population as shown in this case)? A double standard should apply for the Israeli's actions and those involved should be made accountable |

I wonder why Al Jazeera TV(English) did not cover the savage crime of a Palestinian woman literally beaten to death by Israeli soldiers, as a major headline like it did yesterday over the Palestinian exactling revenge for her.
I wonder why the dishonest, unprofessional British reporter who was at the scene yesterday on behalf of Al Jazeera English, would accuse the brave man of deliberately targetting civilans while among the 19 he injured & killed, 16 were Israeli soldiers?!

I agree with most of the repondants. It is still another example of Israel's attitude toward Palastinians. They are treated as if they do not matter. If one dies then good ridance. Israel's attitude is very musch like early American attitudes about Indians which is the oonly good one is a dead one. |

What about the souls killed by palestinians? I don't think anyone goes to a market and expects to watch 50 people explode into pieces. Now I don't support everything Israel does. But one thing they don't do is deliberately attack civilians.
The double standard for extremists is ignorant. Someone gets shot because they ingnore warning shot when approaching a milatary convoy, its an atrosity. But the Hezbolah prisoner who was realeased after killing 3 israeli's years ago is considered a hero? |

the woman died from a heart attack probably caused by the arrests made by israeli soldiers but had no broken bones and shattered skulls etc. the boy is the same age of our soldiers and is the one who stabbed a 9 year old in a settlement a week ago and torched a caravan people live in. which was reported abandoned building by al jazeera. |

I am a 16 yr old, living in California, i visited the West Bank and the Surrounding area of Isreal last summer. Spending several days in the West Bank with Palestinian relatives I saw many atrocious acts by Israeli soldiers and checkpoints, to the point where I feared for my life. They went out of their way to make my relatives and I feel as if we were being treated as animals. Peace will hopefully someday prevail over there. |

I wonder why Al Jazeera English, won't tell the real story about the source of the problem?!
A story that begins with the proposition of Mr Balfour, may he rest in hell, who essentially invited invited every Zionist to move into a country that is not theirs, since the 1920's to colonize Palestine & kick & kill the real people of the land.
Helped by the British government & army as well as the French then the U.S. & made official in 1948.

If you can't live up to your responsibility as journalists to report the truth, then you have two choices, either stay impartial or get out of the business.
