Female judges break Sharia court barrier  
 

Khulood Al-Faqih is one of only two female judges presiding over Islamic law in the Middle East.

She was appointed earlier this year after a landmark ruling by the Palestine Supreme Judge. The ruling said women are allowed to be judges in Islam.
