Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion, had been an enigma well before his famous 1997 ear-biting incident with Evander Holyfield.

Only now, in a new documentary by his friend James Toback - a veteran director and Oscar-nominated screenwriter - does the veil lift.
In an incredibly candid week of interviews and monologues, Tyson told Toback of his tortured childhood, his father-son relationship with trainer Cus D'Amato, and much more - a hugely confessional outpouring that is utterly mesmerising.
James Toback joins Al Jazeera's Entertainment Editor Amanda Palmer and our FPS audience for a special screening and Q&A session about Tyson, one of the best-received films at last year's Cannes Film Festival.
The Boat That Rocked
Writer-director Richard Curtis is responsible for painting a quintessential image of Britain as a romance-obsessed, stammering but witty nation to worldwide audiences.

This is largely thanks to such films as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Love, Actually.
His latest film, The Boat That Rocked, is set in Britain's heyday, the swinging 1960s, and pits a pirate radio station against the establishment powers-that-be.
Amanda Palmer meets Curtis, along with cast members Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Nick Frost, Rhys Ifans and Tom Sturridge, for a discussion on comedy, cinema, and the huge importance of rock & roll.
Bertrand Tavernier
In many ways, Bertrand Tavernier is an archetypal French film director. Some of his classic films such as L' Horloger de Saint-Paul (The Clockmaker of St Paul) and Un dimanche à la campagne (A Sunday In The Country) depict a particularly French way of life.

But over his long and distinguished career, Tavernier has also explored his passions for American regional music (Mississippi Blues, Round Midnight) and pulp crime novels (Coup de Torchon, Fresh Bait).
Tavernier's latest film, In the Electric Mist, is based on a book by the popular American crime novelist James Lee Burke, and takes place in rural Louisiana.
We talk to Tavernier about his passions, and to actor John Goodman about his bigger-than-life role in the film.
