In Egypt, with its more than 80 million people, social solidarity is displayed through so-called Mawaed Arrahmane, or Ramadan banquets.

But the high rate of unemployment among thousands of university graduates remains the most serious.

These young people have no choice but to do any job to earn a living. The government says it does all it can to secure jobs for them, despite its limited resources.

Most, if not all, of the graduates dream of leaving their country in the hope of a better life.
