Israel is said to have stepped up sales of property belonging to Palestinians driven out in 1948. This was revealed in Jerusalem on Monday by " Adalah" - a legal centre for Arab Rights in Israel. The centre says the move is against both Israeli and international law and will have major repercussions on resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. What are the real motives behind it? And will it affect the Palestinians' right of return?
Inside Story presenter Nick Clark is joined by Raanan Gissin, a former adviser to Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon, Suhad Bishara, an attorney and head of land and planning unit at Adalah, and Michel Abdel Al Massih, an international lawyer.
This episode of Inside Story aired from Tuesday, 23 June, 2009.
