This week in the News Divide: The International Criminal Court recently issued an arrest warrant for Omar al-Bashir, Sudan's president, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. It is the first time the ICC has issued this kind of warrant for a sitting head of state or head of government.

Since 2003 more than 200,000 people have been killed in the Darfur conflict and another 3 million have been displaced. But the ICC's charges against al-Bashir have many in the media, particularly in the Arab world, talking about the apparent double standard.

To them, the court has one set of rules for an African/Arab leader, and another set for Western politicians. We take a look at the arrest warrant and the Sudanese government's media counter-offensive.

In part two, The Listening Post's Sam Sapin looks at World of Warcraft, a popular online game that claims to have more than 11 million registered players. But like many addictions, there may be a health risk involved. Our feature will assess the new media phenomenon, its real world implications, and the steps being taken to deal with this manifestation of online addiction.
