Sandy Casar of the Francaise des Jeux team has won the 18th stage of the doping-tainted 200 Tour de France.

Casar scraped his buttock after crashing into a spectator's dog, but went on to win his first Tour stage.

Alberto Contador of Spain kept the overall lead as the race neared its weekend finish in Paris.
